Research Associate (m/f/d)
salary group EG 13 TV-L
start immediately, fixed term for three years.
Leuphana University has successfully participated in the university competition "Data Literacy Education" of the Stifterverband and the Heinz Nixdorf Foundation. The project "Data Driven X" is currently implemented jointly by Leuphana College and the Institute of Information Systems. To support the coordination and implementation of the project, we are looking for a research associate.
Your tasks:
• Develop and shape our new study-program “DATAx ” within the “Leuphana Semester” and the “Komplementärstudium ”
• Coordinate and implement (new) data science/programming classes
• Manage data science projects with partner institutions
• Support research and teaching (we support successful candidates with their further academic development)
Candidate requirements
Your profile:
• Completed academic university degree (Master or equivalent) in the field of information systems research, computer science, physics, mathematics or an adjacent discipline
• Strong interest and first experiences in data science (machine learning and programming)
• Interest in developing new courses and teaching material
• Very good English skills, both written and spoken
