Description
Our current research aims to achieve a deeper understanding of the role of non-classical monocytes in both inflammatory and tumor-related diseases. In particular, we focus on the complex interactions between these cells and other leukocytes, endothelial cells, and platelets.
We are currently seeking a highly motivated PhD candidate with a strong interest in immunobiology to join our team at the earliest possible date.

Your profile
We are seeking highly motivated graduates holding a Master’s degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, or a related field. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about independent scientific work and able to contribute effectively within a collaborative research environment.
Applicants should demonstrate:
• A strong background in immunology
• Ideally, prior experience with one or more of the following techniques: flow cytometry, histological and microscopic methods, biochemical techniques (e.g. Western blotting, gene expression analysis), cell culture and isolation of primary cells from blood and tissue
• Ideally, experience in animal experimentation, including the necessary certification (or the willingness to obtain such)
In addition, candidates should possess:
• A reliable, independent and responsible working style
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Very good written and spoken English proficiency
