Job posting
On Science HR, you can post and promote jobs for scientists in academia and industry. You can also advertise PhD and postdoc positions and fellowships. There are different options you can use to submit your jobs.
Post types
There are three types of job posts: Standard, Standard plus and Promoted. Details about the posting options are provided in the table below.
Job post packages
In addition to single job posts, we offer discounted post packages for organisations that publish jobs regularly. The table below shows examples for Standard posts, and similar discounts are available for Standard Plus listings. Free posting
The Basic (FREE) posting option is available to organisations without a hiring budget, most often universities and academic research institutions. These posts are limited to 30 days, after which they expire. Free posts can be upgraded to a paid option at any time.
Paid job posting options typically receive significantly more views than Basic posts, are processed faster, shared on social media, and offer additional benefits. Paid options are not time-limited and remain online until the application deadline. For greater visibility and reach, we recommend using a paid option whenever possible.

How to post a job
To post jobs, please follow these steps:
- Register for an account (if you already have an account, sign in).
- Fill in the job details in the online Add new job form and click Save.
- If you want to make changes, click Edit, make the changes, and click Save again.
- Click Publish to complete the process and make the job opening visible to others.
Post a job using a .pdf or .doc file
If you have a .pdf or .doc file, we can create a job post for you. You don't need to register an account, but send the job details to us via email at [email protected]. This service costs 135 USD in addition to the prices listed in the table above, plus 19% VAT if applicable.
Automated import
Automated job import is the most convenient, most efficient and cheapest way for organisations to share their job openings at our website. All that is required is a well-formatted and regularly updated RSS feed containing job details that we can import into our database. Automated import subscriptions are available for a period of one year.

Payment
You can pay for the job posting service using one of the following methods:

Bank transfer (invoice)
After placing an order, you will receive an invoice with the details needed to transfer the payment to our bank account. -
Credit or debit card
We accept payments with all major credit and debit cards. -
PayPal
After being redirected to the PayPal page, you can pay using your PayPal account or other available payment options. -
Stripe
A flexible payment method that includes credit cards, Revolut, Giropay, and other options depending on the country you are in. -
Prepaid account
Deposit any desired amount into your prepaid account and use the funds for quick and easy posting until the deposited amount is depleted.

Larger orders
For posting a larger number of jobs, we recommend using the prepaid option. This payment method allows you to benefit from significant discounts, saving you both time and money. A prepaid account ensures a fast and simple posting process without the need for individual payments for each post.
Additional services
All jobs posted on our platform benefit from an optional recruiting system which enables you to access and process the applications online, allowing for a more efficient recruiting process. For more information about the system, please check the recruiting system section.
