About

Summary

I, as a prospective PhD candidate, enthusiastically write that I would feel honored to work under your competent supervision and request for your kind consideration in this regard. I have done my MS and BS Electrical Engineering from COMSATS University, Pakistan, with CGPA of 3.60/4.00 and 3.04/4.00 in 2020 and 2017 respectively.

My MS thesis entitled “Design, Implementation and Evaluation of a Novel Tapped Transformer Multi-level Inverter (T2-MLI)” was a part of collaborative research project between two renowned universities of Pakistan, i.e. Pakistan Institute of Engineering and Applied Sciences (PIEAS) and COMSATS University. The thesis focuses on a novel MLI topology and its hardware implementation for 1kVA load. I gained a valuable experience of hardware realization of semiconductor bidirectional switches and simulations in PSIM, SIMULINK and Altium Designer. The proposed novel topology regards IEEE standards, such as IEEE-519, related to grid connected inverters.
