About
Summary
Mr. Alemu Talema Getahun is a Master of Science in Analytical Chemistry, Department of Chemistry, Injibara University. He is a Lecturer at the Injibarar University, College of Natural and Computational Science, Department of Chemistry.
I have a strong research background in chromatography methods (HPLC, GC, LC-MS, IC) and separation sciences and a research background in spectroscopic techniques (UV-Vis, FTIR, Fluorescence Spectroscopy, AAS, ICP-OES, Mass Spectrometry (MS, LC-MS, GC-MS), and NMR spectroscopy) for structural and quantitative analysis, as well as conducting more research in the fields of electrochemical methods, sensor development, and material characterization at Injibara University. Skilled in method development, validation, and application of chromatographic techniques for complex sample matrices. Interested in advancing research on chromatography, trace analysis, and hyphenated techniques within a PhD program. I have research experience developed and validated HPLC methods for determination of pharmaceutical compounds / mycotoxins / pesticides and applied GC-FID/GC-MS for analysis of volatile organic compounds in samples as well as conducted method optimization and Performed data analysis
