About
Summary
Developing web apps for scientists. The projects include Life Science Network (lifescience.net), Science Events (sci.events) and Science HR (science.hr).
Positions
President Jul 2017 -
Managing director Nov 2011 -
Responsible for the LSN platform concept, overall management and project coordination.
Research scientist Dec 2008 - Jan 2012
Schultz Group, European Molecular Biology Laboratory
Developed a strategy for optimization and high-throughput production of fluorescence-based reporters of protein function.
Postdoc Jan 2007 - Nov 2008
Russell Group, European Molecular Biology Laboratory
Worked on Novasterix project, a spin-off focusing on discovery of peptide-based drugs - responsible for development of a cell-based protein-peptide interaction assay and evaluation of peptide candidates.
Postdoc Aug 2006 - Dec 2006
Schultz Group, European Molecular Biology Laboratory
Developed a cell-based assay for analysis of protein-protein interactions and protein complexes for use in cell biology.
PhD student Sep 2002 - Jul 2006
Schultz Group, European Molecular Biology Laboratory
Thesis: Annexin A4 dynamics in living cells
Supervisor: Carsten Schultz
In addition to studying annexins, also tried to develop small-molecule protein kinase reporters using organic chemistry and solid-phase peptide synthesis.
Side projects included development of genetically-encoded FRET reporters and strategies to visualize multiple signalling events simultaneously in a single cell.
