I am a Junior Researcher at Instituto Superior Técnico. I work on problem identification, plan and conduct experiments, perform data analysis, and propose solutions. I have experience in fluid dynamic studies, machine learning tools, materials characterization techniques, and product development processes. My professional goals are to develop innovative technologies and tools, to continue growing technical and soft skills through a multidisciplinary environment, and to closely collaborate with passionate researchers.

- Applied machine learning methods to estimate material properties, aiming at the production of membranes with greater mass transfer and hemocompatibility.
- Applied genetic algorithm to optimize membrane structure.
- Discussed the results with multidisciplinary experts from different countries and universities.
Highlights: The BioMembrOS project seeks to develop new membrane structures for extracorporeal oxygenators (ECMOs) by mimicking main characteristics of the most effective respiration found in vertebrates, mainly birds and fish.
