Summary

Biosciences Engineer INSA Lyon (France) specialized in Biochemistry and Biotechnologies: looking for a PhD student or research engineer position in cell biology.

My curriculum enabled me to acquire knowledge in many scientific fields : cellular and molecular biology, microbiology, biochemistry, immunology, enzymology, genetic, bioinformatics and statistics...
I am curious and determined, thrilled to work as a team in an international environment, as I can speak French, German and English.

My project is to continue working as a PhD student or as a research engineer, particularly in cell biology and biotechnologies applied in the pharmaceutical industry/environment/nutrition/cosmetology.

Positions

Master thesis - Biochemistry and analytical chemistry Feb 2017 - Aug 2017

Sanofi R&D

Study of antibody-drug conjugates with development of biological in vitro and analytical methods.
Work with in vitro biological matrices, HPLC/mass spectrometry, enzymatic study, DNA extraction.

PhD student assistant Feb 2016 - Mar 2016

Public laboratory CarMeN

Project on the effect of a fatty acid on the human brain.
I assisted the PhD student with the primary culture of neural stem cells, protein quantification (Lowry, Bradford).

Laboratory assistant in Quality control at Tereos Syral (food processing industry) Jul 2015 - Aug 2015

Tereos Syral

My mission was to conduct physical-chemical analysis of powdered sugar for selling.

I worked with HPLC, granulometry…, rigorousness and organization skills.

Education

Ludwig-Maximilians Universität München (LMU, Germany) 2016 - 2016

Field of study: Biology
Degree: Erasmus academic exchange

Academic exchange of one semester at the renowned university LMU in Germany, which allowed me to develop my scientific skills while practising English and German in a professional environment.

Lectures in English and German about: biochemistry, phytochemistry, stem and cancer cells, microbiology.

Projects including:

• Microbiology: E. coli culture in fermenter, production and purification of recombinant proteins then test of its activity.
Work with: cloning, PCR, DNA extraction, fluorescence microscopy on ChemiDoc system, SEC, affinity chromatography on Äkta system, SDS-PAGE, FRET analysis.
• Introduction to flow cytometry at Helmholtz Zentrum München: theoretical bases of flow cytometry, isolation of stem cells from mouse and zebrafish brain, working in cell culture, sorting of stem cells.
