I am an economist who has experience working in various projects and positions. I have worked in universities as a researcher, in NGOs as a project manager and in the United Nations as an Economic Affairs Officer and consultant. Sustainable development, health economics, public and financial debts are part of the work. In addition, as an investment portfolio manager, I specialise in optimising investment portfolios. I am active in financial markets, stocks, futures, options, crypto market and NFT collections.
My academic background in economics and my experiential background in project management and consulting have enhanced my skills in planning strategies, econometric models, data analysis, optimal investment and policy formulation.

Under the International Expert Volunteer Programme as a Research Expert with UNDP Bangladesh, I engaged in trade and investment policy research to contribute to economic development progress. I research emerging issues and analyze findings to formulate concrete policy recommendations. My research is aligned with the strategic goals of the Ministry of Commerce (MoC) and the Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA), identifying priority economic challenges and opportunities of critical importance for policymakers.
I conduct in-depth data analytics surrounding Bangladesh's trade and investment space through qualitative and quantitative research to apprise policymakers of the investment environment. Understanding global and national economic trends, regulations, and international best practices is an important part of my work, which allows me to produce well-informed briefing notes, write-ups, and reports on economic issues that reflect the complicated realities of the national economic environment. My work also focuses on gender-sensitive trade policies post-LDC graduation and technology adoption for improving export competitiveness in Bangladesh, empowering inclusive economic growth.
I am also responsible for supporting the commissioning of high-quality studies by individual consultants and consulting firms. This includes finalizing terms of reference, reviewing work plans and other reporting materials, and working with stakeholders to ensure the studies meet high standards and provide useful insights.
Outside of research, I establish partnerships and promote policy dialogue and research dissemination through consultation meetings, workshops, and dialogues. I provide policy advocacy, participating in drafting policy briefs and engaging in public discussions on trade and investment policy. Working with stakeholders helps me implement relevant and inclusive policy-making by gathering their needs and incorporating them into potential interventions.

My research project was on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the policies of the studied companies in Italy. The project's primary goal was to investigate the effectiveness of government support and financing of companies and to improve companies' vulnerable situation during the crisis. For this purpose, data collection, data review and analysis, and the study of thematic literature were carried out to efficiently carry out the project's research. Also, the results and suggestions will be useful for future crises.

I conducted and developed socioeconomic databases and qualitative data necessary for formulating the Economic and Social Survey of Asia and the Pacific. Therefore, I interpreted, applied and adapted econometric techniques and major economic variables and indicators to determine trends, outlines and associations and the impacts of different public policies and assumptions, particularly for assessing development issues in the Economic and Social Survey of Asia and the Pacific. In addition, I prepared contributions for reports to intergovernmental bodies, including the ESCAP Commission and the committee on macroeconomic policy, public debt, poverty reduction and financing for development. Also, I am drafted research inputs for technical articles and analytical studies on selected global, regional and national characteristics of economic development. Additionally, I identified and analysing public policy proposals for the Economic and Social Survey of Asia and the Pacific. Finally, I assist the Chief of Section in framing, applying and preparing periodic reports of the programme of work and activities for the section.

I am coordinating the "impact finance" project that will play a crucial role in post-covid through the application and implementation of social policies, specifically at the Forlì Campus and the Yunus Social Business Center at the University of Bologna to strengthen companies. In the Region of Emilia Romagna in Italy, with the integration of research projects, teaching in the social field and advice to young entrepreneurs. The projects and research component integrates numerous programs in the social field belonging to various departments of the University of Bologna, national authorities, and European institutes. In addition, I am working at the Yunus Social Business Center in Bologna in collaboration with the European program SEED (Social Innovation Ecosystem Development), to create an ecosystem of research, education and economic development activities in the Emilia Romagna region. In this context, I am integrating different quantitative and qualitative research and data analysis activities in the social field to make them more effective and attractive in Italy and for young international researchers and doctoral students.

I researched and introduced a scientific model for Health Financing and Health system reform based on equity to achieve Universal Health Coverage in Pakistan. To carry out the project, analyzed the current situation and applied a scientific approach considering the progress matrix proposed by the WHO, applied an econometric model and presented the results and recommendations to the Ministry of Health of Pakistan, WHO and experts from International Organizations. In addition, I collected and disseminated information with P4H collaborators on relevant dimensions of financing and universal health coverage, social protection and equality of Pakistanis and presented a report on the evolution of the health system in Pakistan, problems and challenges. Furthermore, based on scientific evidence, I maintained dialogue and created networks among Pakistani partners and International Organizations. Also, I carried out joint activities with the Ministry of Health of Pakistan, federal and provincial governments. I recommended policy reform plans and strategies based on equity for health financing.

I conducted an empirical study aimed at drawing attention to the urgent need to mobilize resources for financing development, in particular, SDGs 3 (Access to health) and 10 (Reduction of inequalities), as well as the need to prevent economic shocks and the implementation of adaptation measures in the context of an international emergency. The project including study cases on the gaps on financing for development (SDGs and Agenda 2063) and on the economic impact of COVID-19 in Liberia. The result will be compiled in a book that will include recommendations regarding debt management, fiscal policies and debt alleviation, in order to boost the responses of the health systems to health emergencies. The recommendations conveyed to member-states are also subject to training and capacity building activities (online webinar), targeting policy-makers and the African civil society.

I work on research topics for integration and international cooperation for development, specifically on women's empowerment, gender equality, social inclusion, crowdfunding, financial inclusion and analysis of social protection policies in Asia, Africa and America. Latin. Develop the project based on the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to raise the importance of gender equality and women's empowerment. I included least developed and developing countries in the studies to measure and determine financial inclusion. Research results show that social and financial inclusion leads to development in selected countries. I have worked with a large database applying methodologies and econometric techniques to achieve the results.

I collected, analyzed and reported data to explain economic phenomena related to the topic with applied mathematical models and econometric techniques. I analyzed SEZ problems in the Campania region (Italy) and disseminated the research results through technical reports in the Campania region. Finally, I submitted the project to the faculty to present at the Government Secretariat of Campania.

I worked in the transport and logistics division at the Extraordinary Commissioner for the Realization of the Universiade (International University Sports) Napoli 2019. I was responsible for planning and organizing the transport logistics of the event, including transport for athletes, managers, delegates and managers national and international competitions. I planned the routes and scheduled transportation and logistics services. I assigned and registered resources and gave training courses with colleagues in different sections and departments. I was part of the direction of all the stakeholders in the logistics and transportation section and evaluated that they were working effectively and efficiently to ensure smooth operations. I communicated effectively with the delegates, federations and competition managers to respond to their requirements. I developed transportation relationships. Finally, I developed a methodology to evaluate post-event data and improve future events for better resource management.

I worked with recent micro-level data from primary sources that ECRI (Division of Emerging and Conflict-Related Issues) has obtained through their ongoing partnerships and collaborations. To do this, I evaluated the sampling frame for the monthly individual / household surveys and proposed improvements, adapted the sample questionnaires to the data needs of the division and its partners, monitoring and validating the quality of the data and processing the data. It was carried out, the statistical analysis of data sources at the micro level, calculation of summary statistics, contributed to the estimation of statistical models, formatted and presented the results of the analysis of migrant households with applying a methodology for measuring the multidimensional impact of transfers to households and gender equality in their countries of origin in the Middle East. Contributed to the UN flagship publication, Sustainable Development Goals in a Conflict-Affected Arab Region: Indicator Baselines Through Microdata and Progress Toward Sustainable Development Goals: Regional Challenges Resulting from Conflict, Possible Scenarios and Options for policies for the Arab world.
