About

Summary

I am a PhD in Neuroscience with a background in Molecular Biology and Cancer. My research experience has given me a comprehensive knowledge of the scientific method, experimental procedures and the discovery process, a proficiency in searching and understanding scientific literature, and it has improved my ability to prioritize tasks and to meet tight deadlines.
I have presented the results of my work at national and international conferences as well as in research seminars. These results have been also published in international peer-reviewed scientific journals.
During my PhD I have improved my communication skills by writing scientific reports, participating in science popularization events, teaching laboratory lessons and extraordinary courses and by advising Master and PhD students. Besides that, I am fluent in English, French and German and native in Spanish.
I am a hard working and curious person, always willing to acquire new skills and to develop professional competences. I have a broad range of interests including, but not limited to, neuroscience, cancer research, translational and interdisciplinary research, biotechnology, and therapy.
