Summary
Dr. Ramachandran Kasu, a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Idaho, USA., with dual postgraduate degrees in Physics and Laser and electro-optical Engineering, conducted Ph.D. research on all-fiber interferometers at IIITDM, Kancheepuram, India. I received guidance from Prof. Naveen Kumar and thesis evaluation from Prof. Gordon Flockhart from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, UK. My post-PhD expertise in various optical research fields has been published in reputable journals. As an experienced postdoctoral researcher with a physics and optical science background, I am deeply interested in optical engineering, bio/nano-photonics, Raman spectroscopy, optical metrology, laser optics, sensors, and fiber optic communication. I have a demonstrated history of developing experimental setups for advanced imaging, sensing, and spectroscopy, supervising students, and guiding them to contribute to scientific literature with several publications. My leadership abilities complement my skills in constructing optical systems, conducting interdisciplinary research, and leveraging technical skills for innovative optical and fiber-optic solutions.
