Research in the search for lead compounds from Plectranthus spp.  to combat multi-drug resistance in cancer. I was involved in the extraction, isolation using different chromatography techniques (HPLC included), structure elucidation (NMR, LCMS, FTIR, optical rotation), structure modification through synthesis to improve the biological activity of compounds and biological activity study (antioxidant, antimicrobial, general toxicity, cytotoxicity).
