Conducted research with team of other students to analyze the clinical study of colorectal cancer in which different analyses carried out such as to test if one can discriminate or classify non-invasive cancer from invasive cancer. The result of the analysis shows that the data can be used to classify cancer into invasive and non-invasive subgroups. Additional information given to analyze the data, using test such as the random forest, linear discriminant analysis, etc., and the empirical result shows that the additional information helps a little in better classification of cancer.
Collaborated with team of students to investigate life expectancy as the dependent variable and using other variables like income, unemployment, primary completion rate, etc., taken from the World Bank database as independent variables for year 2012 to model a linear regression. The empirical results from our analysis using ANOVA table too shows that predictor variables like children out of school does not help in explaining life expectancy while variables such as Access to Electricity serves as better indicator for predicting life expectancy.
