• Coordinating a three-year research project spanning four continents and whose budget was about 250,000 €.
• Collecting 64 invertebrate samples in Romania, Azerbaijan, Ukraine, France and Russia.
• Joining a one-month ornithological expedition on the Yamal Peninsula, where I gave two interviews.
• Gaining 61 samples from three continents thanks to 16 collaborators.
• Lab work: 358 microscopic photographies, 17 dissections, 229 DNA isolations, two internal primers designed, 50 PCRs, 50 agarose gel electrophoreses, 114 DNA sequences deposited on GenBank.
• Data preparation, data integration and data wrangling.
• Running molecular phylogenetic analysis (e.g., Bayesian Inference).
• Two-month internship in ecological modelling at the Naturalis Biodiversity Centre (Netherlands).
