About

Summary

I am a master's degree student at Sabanci University, and we are working on the preparation of polymeric corneal tissue scaffolds. I also have an M.Sc. in Materials Science and Engineering from the Sharif University of Technology (Iranian top-ranked university). In my bachelor's and two masters, I have worked on synthesis and characterization of different polymers as well as tuning their properties according to their final applications. I have published a paper about synthesis, characterization, and shaping the polymer by electrospinning.

I have numerous teaching experiences as well. In my BS.c. and MS.c., I have been TA for thermodynamics and kinetics courses. For MSc. in Sabanci University, I have a scholarship for tissue Eng., scaffold regeneration. Besides, I am TA for numerous courses as a part of my scholarship for tuition waive.  I have been an English teacher for ten years.

I have a great deal of experience with the synthesis and characterization of polymers. I have been trained, passed courses, and have experience in polymer chemistry; bio Eng.; many characterization tools like SEM, XRD, FTIR, GPC, TGA, DMA, DSC, UV visible and Ellipsometry spectrophotometer and Raman; as well as Improving mechanical properties of polymers. I have published a paper about electrospinning. I have been an English teacher for many years and my TOEFL grades 99, 104 (expired).

I am a master's degree student at Sabanci University, and we are working on the preparation of polymeric corneal tissue scaffolds. I also have an M.Sc. in Materials Science and Engineering from the Sharif University of Technology (Iranian top-ranked university).

The thesis is “synthesizing and fabricating polymeric scaffolds for human corneal tissue regenerations.”
Since the polymer will be placed on the human eye, it should have specific optical, mechanical, biological, and crystallographical properties to substitute for the final tissue. Accordingly, the focus is on different aspects of PGS, and this project is divided into subprojects as follows:
I. “Optimising the PGS to a certain extent to be a biocompatible and biodegradable polymeric scaffold for human cornea.”
II. “Tuning the optical polymer properties with the human cornea.”
III. “Studying the crystallinity behavior of PGS to harmonize the mechanical properties with the human cornea.”
