About

Summary

Highly motivated and dedicated chemist with an M.Sc. in Novel Foods and a strong background in advanced analytical techniques. My experience working at CSIC has enabled me to develop expertise in characterizing complex food matrices and materials using GC-MS, HS-SPME, TGA, and DSC. I have a strong background in research, including optimizing methodologies for plant-based ingredients, studying molecular interactions, and examining bioavailability principles. My main career goal is to contribute to advancing sustainable food technologies and nutritional innovation.

Positions

Research Assistant Sep 2025 -

Spanish National Research Council (CSIC)

  • I am currently working in the “Synthesis, Processing and Additive Manufacturing Unit” (Unidad de Síntesis, Procesado y Fabricación Aditiva) of the Institute of Polymer Science and Technology, participating in various areas of the unit and assisting with the tasks performed.
I have had the opportunity to learn about numerous characterization techniques, such as thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), as well as the processes involved in 3D manufacturing and the processing of polymeric materials, among others.
  • At the moment, I am collaborating on a project to synthesize sulfonated cellulose membranes that serve as battery separators. This work has allowed me to gain experience with the electrospinning technique for preparing membranes and with SEM for characterizing them.
