Summary
I am an energetic, ambitious and enthusiastic professional who has a background in scientific research and prior experience of UK recruitment. I am presently looking for a rewarding role with an employer who appreciates my scientific research preparation and my international experience, and provides opportunities for further professional and personal development.
I am trained as a biologist and obtained a PhD studying stem cells and liver regeneration. It has been a very enriching experience but, after leaving Medestea Research&Production for ethical reasons, I have decided to focus my career more on the client relationship management and improve my communication skills, which I have developed whilst managing third party contractors and consultants, and felt the recruiting environment was the right step to further develop it.
I have worked as a recruiter for more than two years in fast-paced environments, both in Italy and in the UK. My last experience in CV&Coffee and my previous in Michael Page, gave me the opportunity to acquire a good knowledge of the International market, working closely with several Clients and being responsible for identifying their needs and targets, to find the best active and passive candidates through the use of Boolean, LinkedIn and alternative search techniques. I have efficiently managed the whole recruitment process, starting from advertising vacancies using external job boards and social media channels, to arranging interviews with candidates and supporting them till their on-boarding.
I gained excellent relationship management skills and influencing and persuading capabilities, working under pressure to face overcoming obstacles and balancing multiple priorities and deadlines. I negotiated economic offers between clients and candidates up to £ 70k and worked promoting Company’s brand to attract the best candidates and Clients and to increase revenues. I have also gained relevant administrative skills preparing and checking invoices, contracts and using Profile 7 RPM, software specific to manage the whole recruitment processes.
As a biologist, I have developed an excellent attention to details and analytical skills through working both in academic and pharmaceutical environments and being responsible for complex projects and analysis of data. I liaised with colleagues and stakeholders and adjusted according to the environment and assignment reaching the publication of my results on international papers.
I have always been a great communicator and really enjoyed liaising with people, both within my team and externally, quality that I have developed both professionally as a recruiter and personally as experienced Official Authorised Instructor in climbing and mountaineering for the Club Alpino Italiano.
