Summary
I graduated in biotechnology from Universitat de Girona and I also have a Master Degree in Molecular Biology and Biomedicine. I am interested in molecular biology of different conditions or/and diseases.
I have been trained in the following laboratory techniques: molecular biology (site-directed mutagenesis, PCR and cloning techniques), cell cultures (tumour cell line cultures and E. coli cells) and production and purification of recombinant proteins. I also have experience in clinical laboratory. I consider myself as a hard-working, enthusiastic and organized person.

Protein Engineering, Universitat de Girona
I joined to Enginyeria de Proteïnes (Protein Engineering) research group as an internship student. There, I did my Master Degree Final Project.
I designed, produced and purified two recombinant pancreatic human ribonucleases that were cytotoxic and selective for cells with overexpression of HER2 receptor. For do those steps, I have been trained in site-directed mutagenesis, DNA cloning, expression and purification cell cultures, DNA sequencing, SDS-PAGE, French Press, HPLC, MALDI-TOF and other techniques of protein purification. When I performed the purification process, I did cytotoxic assays with SK-BR-3 cell line. For that, I have been trained in cell culture of tumour cell lines.

Laboratori Clínic Territorial de Girona
Laboratori Clínic Territorial de Girona (Clinical Territorial Laboratory of Girona) is a clinical laboratory where I did my Bachelor's Final Project. My aim was to determinate if there was a cardiovascular risk in patients with subclinical hypothyroidism.
My tasks were: to make two groups of study (subclinical hypothyroidism vs. euthyroid), to analyze biochemical and immunological parameters of the patients of study (thyroid hormones, cholesterol and its fractions, triglycerides and antibodies anti-tiroxin) and to analyze results by statistics methods.

I made a internship in Laboratori Clínic Territorial de Girona as a Laboratory Technician in Biochemistry department.My tasks were: to analyze biochemical parameters of serum and urine and to calibrate the laboratory machinery.
