Sir / Madam,
I am an Engineer with an international double degree in Chemical Engineering, engineering at the Free University of Tunis (ULT) Tunisia and at the same time master II at the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança (IPB) Portugal, I would like to send you my application for the doctoral position in your laboratories.
During my university studies, I took courses in materials chemistry, physico-chemistry of polymers, electrochemistry, thermodynamics, organic chemistry, as well as courses in project management. This constituted a solid foundation on which I was able to rely in the mastery of various techniques relating to different axes of chemistry.
Currently I am working as a project manager in an algae industry which manufactures high quality food texturizers such as agars and carrageenans for the whole world, I carry out all the analytical analyzes during the industrial production phase whose goal is to follow the quality of the agars and carrageenans after I optimize and validate the results according to the clients' needs at the same time I manage a new project in collaboration with a foreign country, by fixing the sizing of the different components of the project in line with the production target.
As a researcher at the LYON Materials and Polymers Engineering Laboratory, I worked on the synthesis of oligochitosan-PEG diblocks. Specifically, I focus on the characteristics of the polymer which aims to design a new generation of therapeutic vectors capable of transporting siRNAs in order to block the expression of a gene, by binding to mRNAs. Thanks to this project I have accumulated enough information on the field of biomaterials. This work has allowed me to rub shoulders with the scientific research community.
On the other hand, I carried out several internships of which I am quoting here that of my PFE internship of Master in chemistry within the CIMO Bragança Portugal Laboratory "Centro de Investigaçao de Montanha", where my mission was to develop a new method of synthesis a new ecological coating based on natural dyes and aqueous dispersions of Polyurethane.
I would like to bring to your attention the strengths that best define me. Indeed, I had the opportunity to collaborate on this work which was presented at the CGNPC-2019 conference. In addition, I am passionate about polymers and I like to develop innovative technologies to exploit them.
Besides that, I am curious about all news and thirsty to know, I am a pragmatic, hardworking and disciplined person.
