About
Summary
I am a research oncologist, with experience in 3D cell culture, zebrafish xenografts (Danio rerio) and data analysis, among basic wet and dry lab techniques. I recently specialized in Bioinformatics and completed a scholarship for the PAFML project (Familial Amyloid Polyneuropathy Machine Learning), where I created disease profiles based on medical exams.
With my experiencies on laboratories and research institutes, I managed to develop great teamwork and comunication skills. My technical skills and interest in R&D allow me to succeed in dynamic and fast-paced environments, always ready to face new challenges.
I am a responsible, curious, organized and goal-oriented person. If my profile and skills are of interest to you, do not hesitate to contact me.
Skills
Experience with 3D cell models and in vivo models of zebrafish, as well as basic laboratory techniques, including DNA extraction and analysis, PCR, western-blot, immunofluorescence, confocal microscopy, among others.
I also acquired skills of analysis, exploration and visualization of laboratory and biological data.
Professional interests
Extremely interested in oncological research, particularly with regard to the discovery of new drugs and therapeutic drugs. Interest also in neurodegenerative diseases, especially familial amyloidotic polyneuropathy (FAP), among others such as Alzheimer's and Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS)
