-Since 2012, PhD student “ Final Semester “ Department of marine chemistry/ Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences, Dokuz Eylul University / Izmir, Turkey.
- I will graduate from my PhD on October 2016.
- I have finished my master degree and all my courses in doctorate in marine chemistry with excellent grades
Current job:
- I am working as research and development chemist at ESKİM Kimya Sanayi company, Eskisehir/Turkey. Here we try to produce new polyester products according to world standards.
- Also, I have worked “part time” at “Aybak Natura Analysis Laboratory Services Ltd. Co.” ,Izmir / Turkey, as a chemical analyst for food products in which our team perform analysis for large scale of food’s additives and residues which includes mycotoxin analyses ,pesticide analyses, Antibiotics, mineral-metal analyses and others.
Projects participations
- Environmentally Sustainable Project of Establishing Eco-Friendly Fish Farms System.
- Grand Canal Project In The Gulf of Izmir Environment; Physical, Chemical, Biological and Microbiological Monitoring of Impact and results
In these projects we monitoring the environmental conditions in marine ecosystem this includes:
1- Pollutants (heavy metals, persistent organic pollutants) concentrations.
2- Nutrients (phosphorus, nitrogen, silicon, oxygen, and chlorophyll) concentrations in sediment, water and biota.
***In my work and my study I used to deal with instruments like HPLC, GC, AAS , ICPMS

Education
Dokuz Eylül Üniversitesi 2013 - 2016
Field of study: Environmental Chemistrty
Degree: 4/4
Current research in my PhD
Use of synthesized polymers as sorbents for the extraction of organochlorine pesticides in fish and sediment from eastern Aegean coast, Turkey.
Here we use two types of new synthetic polymers:
1- Molecularly imprinted polymers.
2- Polymers of nanostructures with high binding capacity (depending on hydrophobic interactions).
This method of analysis is a new method which will be established according to new adsorption materials with new adsorption-desorption parameters such as pH, temperature, polymer concentration , pesticide concentration, time of contact between polymer and pesticide and others.
Also, we try to establish a new HPLC conditions with modification in mobile phase, temperature, pH and other conditions.
