About
Summary
Hi everyone,
This is Shuvankar, currently working at BSBE, IIT Kanpur as a project scientist in the Single molecular Biophysics lab. My research focuses on the SARS-COV2 virus fusion mechanism at a single molecular level. During PhD, I worked on the design and synthesis of target-oriented supramolecular architectures for sensing environmentally and biologically essential ions and molecules.
Positions
Senior Project Scientist Mar 2023 -
Biological Sciences and Bioengineering, Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur
I am working at the single molecular biophysics lab to explore the SARS-COV2 virus fusion mechanism at the single molecular level.
Project Scientist Sep 2022 - Feb 2023
Biological Sciences and Bioengineering, Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur
Project Associate Mar 2021 - Sep 2022
I have designed target-specific probes for the recognition of simulants of chemical warfare agents and developed portable sensors for real-time detection of these simulants.
