- Main contributor to AAV vector engineering for neurological (GBA1/Parkinson’s) and cardiovascular programmes.
- Redesigned plasmid backbone and propagation protocol to restore ITR integrity (>95% intact ITR)
- Designed and optimised transgene cassettes, including promoter/enhancer selection and tissue‑specific codon optimisation to improve expression, stability, safety and manufacturability.
- Established a MoClo assembly workflow delivering ~50 constructs per two-week cycle without robotics aid.
- Delivered GMP-aligned plasmids for IND/CTA manufacturing.
- Supervised five scientists and coordinated cross-functional work with capsid, in vivo, analytics, protein engineering, disease biology, and CMC teams. Managing laboratory operations and safety.
- Contributed key data to patent filings and ASGCT/ESGCT presentations (2024–2025).
