Hi, my name is Sonia Laura Guzmán Arias I am a Chemist interested in research and analysis, I can use the equipment of the laboratory, in particular the NMR, I made my thesis about synthesis of organic compounds (chiral inductors, pyrimidines), now I work at the goverment, we develope proyects as "Building 100% free tobacco", "Empresa Incluyente Gilberto Rincón Gallardo", etc. I speak spanish and english and I am learning mandarin.

Skills
Handling all laboratory equipment (glass instrument, scales, etc.) and NMR, IR, HPLC equipment, I always run my own samples and have the ability of interpretation, I took a 2D course of NMR, and I'm familiar with COSY than with the other 2D spectrums, I find more interesting the proton spectrum than the carbon spectrum.
With my experience as graduate and postgraduate, I understood how to be a team player, a critical thinker and how to enhance my productivity. Also it led me to earn ability to assess a situation, seek multiple perspectives, gather more information if necessary and identify key issues that need to be addressed.
Professional interests
I am exceptionally interested in biology research, I spend part of my free time in learning more about biology and the cells structure because my major is in Organic Chemistry. My ambition is to acquire experience and knwolodge in virology, and I'm eager to learn new technologies, and because I have always loved the research this is why I'm very interested in have new knowledge and abilities to contribute to this research
