About
Summary
Hi! My name is Tawat, and I hold a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and a master’s degree in Applied Physics from NTU. Over the past three years in Prof. Mario Hofmann’s group, I have gained hands-on experience in fabricating and characterizing 2D material-based electronic devices, as well as exploring bottom-up nanopatterning strategies for my master’s thesis. These experiences have fueled my strong interest in low-dimensional systems, strengthened my technical foundation, and clarified my research direction—making a PhD position in this field a logical and exciting next step. I am now seeking to pursue my doctoral studies overseas in the area of low-dimensional systems.
Outside of research, I challenge myself through long-distance running, road race events, table tennis training, and other outdoor activities, which help me cultivate discipline, resilience, and focus.
