Summary
I have expertise in the areas of validation and standardization of cancer biomarkers from my two years of work experience that apart from routine wet lab work involves strategy planning, standardization of assays, data management, data compilation, data interpretation and data documentation. I have gained both research experience and industrial experience and I'm presently working in MedGenome Labs Ltd., and my work profile includes library preparation for the Illumina platform and analyzing the sequenced data. I'm working on prognosis of various pathways such as JAK-STAT, RAS-RAF and EGFR for different types of cancer disorders like lung, colorectal, GIST giving me a holistic view from diagnosis to prognosis. This gave me a frontage to various aspects of cancer biology.I now want to devote myself completely to research and climbing new heights by learning more. To describe myself in a nutshell, I am systematic and organized, ready to take up any challenge of life abreast with the latest trends and a team player with excellent communication skills.
Positions
Research Assistant May 2018 -
I'm involved in whole genome library preparation and data analyses. I also work on Sanger's sequencing. We work on Illunmia platform.
Apart from this, my routine work involves, DNA and RNA extraction from blood, FFPE tissue and Blood plasma.

Professional interests
I want to work on discovery of liquid biopsy based and non-invasive biomarkers for early detection of diseases. These biomarkers could give prognostic as well as diagnostic value for targeted therapy. I would like to work on cfDNA and CTC. Apart from this, I wish to analyze cfDNA for the presence of biomarkers for early detection of Alzheimer's disease.
